Discovery of Sheesh in Khatu :
After the Mahabharata battle, Barbarika’s head (Sheesh) was buried in the village ( Khatu ) in Sikar District . The location was obscured until well after the Kaliyuga period began. Then, on one time, milk started flowing suddenly out of a cow’s udder when she neared the burial spot. surprised at this incident, the local villagers dug the spot the buried head of Barbarik was discovered.

The head was handed over to a Brahmin who worshipped it for many days. Roopsingh Chauhan, king of that time of Khatu, then had a dream where he was motivated to build a temple and set up the head there. Afterward, a temple was built and the idol was installed on the 11th day of the Shukla Paksha (bright half) of the month of Kartik. After establishing this temple countless miracles done here and a lot of bhagats come to observe this khatu shyam ji temple.

Khatu Temple History
The original temple was built in 1027 AD by Roopsingh Chauhan and his wife Narmada Kanwar. In 1720 AD, a nobleman known as Diwan Abhaisingh renovated the old temple, at the behest of the then ruler of Marwar. The temple took its present shape at this time and the idol was enshrined in the sanctum sanctorum. The idol is made of rare stone. Khatushyam is the family deity of a large number of families.The temple is constructed of pure white Makrana marble and is an example of unique architecture. The idol is in form of a head "SHISH" which appeared in the holy pond as Shyam Kund.

Ranthambore Ganesh Temple

When we say “Pratham Ganesha” in Hindu religion, it is believed to be the Trinetra Ganesha of Ranthambhore. Located in Ranthambore fort of Rajasthan state of India, The Trinetra Ganesha Temple is the famous and oldest temple of Lord Ganesha in Rajasthan that comprises of his whole family all together at one place. Jeenmata Temple was constructed around 1200 years ago. The temple of Jeen Mataji has been a place of pilgrimage from early times and was repaired and rebuilt several times. Rani Sati Dadi Temple (Jhunjhunu)

Shri Baba Gangaram Dham popularly known as Shri Panchdev Mandir is situated in Jhunjhunu city of Rajasthan. This beautiful temple is dedicated to Vishnu Avtari Shri Baba Gangaram along with Lord Shiv, Lord Hanuman, Goddess Durga and Goddess Laxmi. The temple was established by Bhakt Shiromani Sri Devkinandan and Param Aradhika Mata Gayatri Devi. Salasar Balaji Dham Temple

Salasar Balaji or Salasar Dham is a temple located in the small town of Salasar near Sujangarh in Churu district, Rajasthan. The magnificent temple was constructed in the year 1754 and is now considered as a shakti sthal (place of power), a place where all wishes come true. The idol of Lord Hanuman here is deemed to be swayambhu (self-created). It is believed that on Shravan Shukla-Navami in 1811 Samvat, a farmer found a unique idol of Hanuman with beard and moustaches while ploughing the field. The idol was then sent to Salasar, and a temple was constructed in 1754 AD by Mohandas Maharaj.

Shakambhari Mata Temple

Maa Sri Shakambhari Bhagwati's very holy ancient proven Shaktipeeth is on the banks of a rainy river in the jungles of the Shivalik ranges. This Shaktipeeth of Mother is the continual place of Goddess. It is said that Mother appeared in a self-proclaimed form here. The samadhi of which still remains in the temple premises. There is a law to see Bhuradev, the exclusive devotee of the Goddess here, before seeing the mother.
